The weekend was literally quite good.
1. Burger King

No journey could start or end without one, luckily we were able to get money off just by asking if we could. I suggest trying it, things are always cheaper when you pay less for them.
As well as avoiding a full price meal, we were also able to avoid a swarm of hungry queuers.

2. Train
Not much to tell really, just an essential part of the journey. Sadly our luck had run out, the train had somehow run out of seats, which lead to a squat and a difficult burger.

3. Glasgow
40 minutes later and we were there, just a shame we didn’t know where to go next. Thank god for taxis, which got us to the SECC and showed us the sights on the way.

4. Arcade Fire
A band I had heard a little of, but wasn’t too bothered about seeing. My opinion soon changed once the guy in front of me tried to do everything in his power get in between my eyes and the band. He also had a remarkable ability to dance to silence and stand on people’s feet. It’s times like this that you wish smoking wasn’t band, people really tend to stink.
The band themselves were brilliant, I was a little worried at first, everything was a little bit too mellow and relaxed. They soon got the crowd going though by performing certain activities such as: drumming on motorcycle helmets on top of blue tubes of light, throwing drums in the air, running up and down the stage whilst playing a guitar, using megaphones as opposed to microphones and drumming on the speakers when drums had all been thrown elsewhere.

In conclusion, really worth it, a really great performance.
Although getting back was hell.
